Need for a midwife in the community

My name is KETILA, I am 20 years old and I live in Likasi.

It is a mining town where the population does not benefit much  from its wealth.

After my father died, his family took us to the village.  When my sister was 16 she married a farmer.

Untimely power cuts in the city of Lubumbashi

My name is Djossy KYABUTA, I live in the city of Lubumbashi.
Here is my story, the untimely power cuts in my city. Which is the cause of many social problems for the population, because of the power cuts that occur at all times.

Some electricians in my neighborhood, responsible for the electricity cabin of our community say that the granting of transformers is inappropriate. It is exceeding the loads in relation to the intended users.

Access to drinking water: a conundrum

It is often said that water is life, but I am troubled by the difficulties of access to drinking water for the inhabitants of the city of Lubumbashi.

My name is Ernest Ngongo. I live in the Kalubwe district of Lubumbashi. After independence, the DRC suffered from a lack of infrastructure for access to drinking water due to the almost exponential growth of its population.
It is estimated that only 30% of the population has easy access to quality drinking water, despite the fact that the country has more than 50% of the African continent's water reserves.

I am BWALESO KALUBISA John, inhabitant of the city of Lubumbashi.

A bad assessment of the construction of petrol stations in the green spaces in Lubumbashi.

In the old days, in the city of Lubumbashi, there were green spaces, where I could find young people, adults resting calmly under trees in the green spaces. These green spaces were used as playgrounds for the children of these neighbourhoods.

Traffic jams in the city of Lubumbashi

In Lubumbashi, a city in the DRC, getting around and arriving at one's destination on time has become a headache because the road traffic situation in the main thoroughfares of the city of Lubumbashi is very embarrassing.

My name is Christophe KABULO, I live in Lubumbashi.

A Witch in the City of Lubumbashi

I want to talk to you about a situation concerning a witch girl in my city of Lubumbashi. I am Collard Mush A Mukaz.

Everything had started to change when the girl's father lost his job. He had left the children with their mother, who in turn had to leave the children with their grandmothers due to financial difficulties, to go look for a way to make ends meet in Kolwezi.

Unsanitary Conditions in Kenya Commune

Health is priceless. Every year we witness something bad for our health, the unsanitary conditions in Kenya Commune (a municipality of Lubumbashi, DRC).

My name is Jacques Kingwezya. I am a resident of this commune, and I observe that every year during the rainy and dry seasons, there are many people who suffer from diseases related to uncleanliness.
